No one should be left alone, even when there is nothing
to do in a practical way. The loving presence is what
she or he needs. The companion may be quiet, even silent. There may or may not be need for talking and doing. Listening and responding is more appropriate. |

- The best way for us to understand a person is to be open to listen to
them = LISTENING
