Programs range from half day workshops to retreats, each are highly experiential and very effective in healing our veterans. In order to run these programs your donations are necessary. Please visit our Donate page to pledge your support! Programs are held at the Healing Light Institute unless otherwise noted.

This service provides outreach to all Veterans struggling with addictions. There is information and literature available from different twelve step recovery programs, treatment facilities, government resources as well as a safe place to meet for a weekly twelve step based support group. In this group the Veterans can share and help one another with their addiction issues. The VRA meetings combined with the other therapies have proven to be very helpful in the recovery process.

For two days and nights we spend our time in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains of eastern California, taking an inward journey through the meditative process. By initially focusing on the breath, we stay in the present moment, being mindful of ourselves, our environment and learning patience. Retreats are planned when enough interest is expressed.
